Students pursuing this course will be able to structure learning experiences with respect to appropriate formations, progression and coaching techniques. Additionally, they will be able to develop unit and lesson plans focusing on football skills and techniques. The application of the laws that govern the game and the safety precautions associated with teaching football is a major feature of this course. Students are afforded the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge of the game, through class participation. The rules of the game are reinforced through minor games and other situations.
