Research Project

My current research is to establish biological passports of college and university athletes who compete in various sporting discipline.  Specific biological markers will be identified and monitored over several months to produce a haematological and a steroidal profile for each athletes.  Comparison will be made between biological passports of athletes who are engaged in the various sporting disciplines. A biological passport is a longitudinal mechanism which protects athlete’s health, guard against doping and promote fairness of play in all competitive sporting discipline.
