My tenure at the Mico University College can be summed up in one word, “spectacular!” One of my favorite and most unforgettable memories was the warm treatment I received by the entire teaching cohort of lecturers. Not only was I a beneficiary of their pedagogical prowess, but I was fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to be mentored by some of the best lecturers. The Physical Education Department at the Mico University College is really one of a kind. The lecturer’s wealth of experience, as well as their willingness to impart knowledge to students of diverse backgrounds and academic aptitudes, are just a few of the reasons why this experience was a worthwhile one.
Quite a number of lifelong relationships were forged over the years of study. The spirit of community was quite evident on campus and it was during the years there that practical lessons were taught on being a brother’s or sister’s keeper. The Mico University College experience has left me with an aim which will follow me for life, that being, to influence individuals encountered positively and use every platform afforded to impart new knowledge to the 21st century learners, thus making their lives better than when I first became acquainted with them.
