Have I not long for the Mico Once more!!
Obviously it is Natural to be skeptical about the College/University you want to attend BUT for me I chose The Mico University and without a doubt I had and have not regret my decision. When I started in 2014 as a Physical Education Student, I expected a roll a coaster rides based on people’s experience, and for sure it never started out as such but as the semesters progressed the roller coaster became faster.
The Mico not only supports academics but also personal growth and hobbies. In my first year at the Mico I was selected to be a part of the Jamaica Netball senior team representing Jamaica in New Zealand. Mico is excellent in whatever they do. Throughout my time I went to many tours for Jamaica Clashing with Exams and assignment but the Mico that provides supports allows me the opportunity to make adjustment in order to stay on track. In my second year I earned a Scholarship to the Northumbria University in New Castle England, and despite it being another environment and level of work, The Mico University worked with Nortumbria university in keeping me on the same path of Education I started.
What stood out for me is the fact that throughout all the difficulties; I always had a shoulder to lean on. It was never easy for me but because of the core values that The Mico University College displays such as: Leadership, Integrity, Service to others and Excellence in performance I was able to complete my education.
